Golden hour in Kapalua

Visiting from Texas Kevin wanted to make sure he had some of the very best Maui has to offer for proposing to his long time girlfriend Tara during a work retreat here on island . We spent months going back and forth putting together the perfect plan for asking the big question. When the date came the beach he had chosen had an elaborate wedding taking place where the original location for asking above Kapalua Bay was no longer an option. The beach itself was full of beach goers but determined to make the best of the situation we found a tucked away area on the far corner of the cove that was perfect.

After several minutes of happy tears, hugs, and cheers from those who witnessed the proposal we decided to keep the remainder of our time a bit more intimate away from the beach crowd. Where the first location was located was only a few minutes walk from another breathtaking area on island called Ironwoods.

Covered in the dreamiest golden light and well hidden from others these two celebrated their engagement on some seaside cliffs just the two of them. Our time together ended back on the sand with a beautiful peaceful sunset.
