Ironwoods Maui Elopement
K + B have been sweethearts since high school - With the many wonderful years they have been together they knew what they share is “true love”. Upon becoming engaged the pair decided they wanted to have an intimate wedding ceremony to tie the knot just the two of them and then later on a separate ceremony to celebrate their marriage at home with all of their loved ones. When it came to setting a location they decided on the popular ( and for good reason ) stunning beach called Ironwoods Beach located in Kapalua, Maui.
Their wedding day was one out of a dream. K + B woke up before the sun to get ready which was helpful with having a nice big time difference from back home to Hawaii. To help beat the heat and crowds their wedding ceremony took place about 30 minutes after the sun had risen. This gave us the perfect glowing sunlight that helped make the blues of the ocean pop and highlighted the pair during their ceremony. High above the ocean with waves crashing below them they said, “ I do”.
Hawai’i may be famous for it’s gorgeous coastline but it’s lush greenery is equally as picturesque. After the ceremony we drove to a location only about 10 minutes down the road for K + B to read their vows at a tucked away palm grove. They had decided to write their own vows to share with one another. There was laughter, there were happy tears. After some bridal portraits under some coconut palms we went to our third location called D.T. Flemings Beach. With the two being wed we celebrated the joyous occasion with toes in the sand, a few more bridal portraits, and the atmosphere filled with nothing but love.
